Εxpedition

About the expedition

The Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation (AIMC) will engage its “Aegean Explorer” this Fall 2024 with their research vessel for a 7-day expedition with 10 scientists,  mapping the Posidonia seagrass and collecting biodiversity data around Lemnos. They will meet with students from the Lemnos schools, the fishermen, and locals who would like to board the vessel to see how the researchers collect data.

Goals of 7 Day Lemnos Expedition
