This is the vision driving Lemnos Marine Conservation’s three-year initiative to reduce plastic pollution across the island. More than a campaign, it is a collective shift in mindset, moving away from single-use habits toward a culture of reuse, responsibility, and respect for the environment.
This is not just about reducing plastic. It is about reimagining how a community lives, works, and cares for the place it calls home.

Vrisi Water Refill Map
A network of 5 public potable water stations across Myrina, making it easy for everyone to refill and stay hydrated without plastic.
Refill Culture Movement
Shifting everyday habits by encouraging the use of reusable thermoses and reducing dependence on single-use plastic bottles across the island.
Thermos Giveaway Program
Providing reusable thermoses to locals, students, fishermen, and visitors to support a long-term culture of reuse.
Short student film competition
Young voices take the spotlight with powerful 1–3 minute films on plastic pollution, judged by an international panel and awarded with exciting prizes.
Expert Talk & Q&A
Join a leading biologist for an eye-opening talk on how plastic affects our ecosystems and human health, followed by an open discussion.
